80’s & 90’s Chics break out your Bedazzler kits!

Hahahaha…so I will admit that is what I immediately thought of when purchasing this embellished hoodie, but I must say it has definitely grown on me and is one of my go-to looks on the weekends + EVERYTIME I wear it, I get compliments.

This Lea & Viola eye-catching sweatshirt adorned with faux pearl accents is so cozy, on the inside, it feels so soft and warm to the touch – perfect on those days where it’s cold, but you don’t want to layer. A go-to for the kind of Spring weather we’ve been having here on the East coast.

Due to the length of this hoodie, I paired with a Joie tank that sits 1/2 way on my zipper line.

The silk fabric of the tank dresses up the look and adds depth with a play on pattern.

Have you ever heard of the brand Articles of Society? If not, you need to get a pair of these jeans in your life! I remember as a Personal Stylist for Nordstrom; this brand was a fav amongst my clientele. These skinny jeans hit you in all the right places and are made with the combination of cotton, spandex, rayon, and polyester – which makes them soft,  flexible, and maintain their original fit.

I adore this particular pair because it pulls off the distressed look effortlessly. I love how the distressed cutout markings are away from my knees. When this trend first came out last year, I had a few try-on sessions with quite a few pairs of distressed black jeans before I came across these Sarah Cut Off Hem jeans. I’m just not a fan of how my knees look when skinnies have distressed cutouts directly on the knees. FYI these jeans are currently on sale at Nordstrom Rack for only $34.97 (they are generally inexpensive, but these are a steal!)

As a Personal Stylist, I am always encouraging my clients to add metallic shoes to their wardrobe. It’s one of those colors that meshes well with everything.

So…I am a shoe freak, as in, I feel like you can never have enough shoes (as long as each pair is different). The slip-on sneaker trend will forever be in my closet. In fact, I am currently up to 4 pairs. I just love how they are a versatile year-round shoe + they are SO COMFY! Come to think of it, they have replaced all of my flats. I honestly haven’t worn any of my flats in over a year – hmm…time to retire my ballet flats!

One of my go-to store for shoes is DSW – LOVE DSW!

Which is where I got these metallic Vans Asher slip-on sneaker – Slip your foot into a pair and check them out!

Let’s talk accessories: This outfit is paired with my go-to World Market beaded clutch as previously mentioned in my first blog post

+ pearl earrings (playing off the embellishment on the sweater) + Dolce & Gabbana Shades  These particular shades are designed for men,

but I think I pull them off quite well, maybe even better ; )
